Welcome to Casey Camera Club!
At Casey Camera Club, photography is about more than just taking pictures – it’s about capturing stories, exploring creativity, and connecting with others who share a passion for photography. Our club brings together photographers of all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals, creating a welcoming community where everyone can learn, grow, and be inspired.
We meet regularly on Thursday nights in Lynbrook, SE Melbourne. We share ideas, showcase our work, and enjoy presentations from guest speakers covering everything from technical skills to creative approaches.
Members also have opportunities to participate in workshops, photo walks, competitions, and exhibitions that encourage both personal growth and collaboration.
Whether you prefer landscapes, portraits, street photography, wildlife, or experimenting with new techniques, our club provides the space and support to explore your interests. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, encouraging environment where feedback is constructive and achievements are celebrated.
At Casey Camera Club we inspire each other to see the world through fresh perspectives – one frame at a time.
What We Do
We meet on Thursday evenings at our clubrooms in Lynbrook, Victoria, with a regular calendar of events, along with regular weekend outings.

Week 1 : Theory / Educational nights
The first Thursday is Theory / Educational night. We feature a variety of guest speakers, or our more experienced members share their knowledge with us.

Week 2 : Creatives
We get our cameras, lighting, props and tripods out and get hands-on creative! Previous themes include 'Shooting through objects', 'Playing with light & Shadows', 'Water play' and '1 object, 10 photos'.

Week 4 : Competition Judging
We run a monthly competition for our members. Each month our members can submit printed and digital images that are then critiqued by a guest judge, with certificates awarded to the best submissions. Judging nights are a great showcase of our members' creativity.

Monthly Outings
Each month we get out and about together, visiting parks, beaches, waterfalls, cityscapes any many more, getting creative with our photography while having fun as a club.
